Each manufacturer produces hearing aids in multiple power levels. For example, Phonak's flagship product- the Audeo Paradise comes in a 90 (top spec), 70 and 50 range. The simplest way to understand power levels is based on activity and the environments you typically find yourself in. If you are regularly in busy environments with high levels of background noise, such as an office or restaurants then the higher power levels are for you. If you are regularly in quiet environments such as at home, then the lower power levels are sufficient. The pricing demonstrated below is an approximate guide.
